The Warriors enter the next stage of their season with a 3–1 record following a demanding September schedule.
Victoria West opened September with three consecutive victories, defeating Victoria East 52–37 on September 4, Flour Bluff 42–19 on September 10, and Calhoun 35–28 on August 28. The Warriors’ winning run came to an end on September 17, when they lost 49–27 to Veterans Memorial.
Despite the setback, Victoria West’s opening results have highlighted the team’s offensive production and competitive start to the 2026 season.
The Next Challenge
The Warriors are scheduled to face Fort Bend Marshall on September 25. The upcoming game will provide another opportunity for the team to continue its season and prepare for the district schedule.
Victoria East, meanwhile, is looking to recover after a difficult start. The Titans lost to Friendswood 60–7 on September 11 and Randle 69–14 on September 17, following their opening defeat against Victoria West.
With more games ahead, local football fans can expect additional Friday-night action as both Victoria programs continue their campaigns.
