In a world that is searching for hope, peace, and truth, may we never forget who we are called to reflect. When the church begins to look like the world, it no longer resembles Jesus Christ. Our calling is not to blend in, but to mirror the heart, love, and character of our Savior to a lost and hurting world.
Every action we take should point people to Jesus. Every word we speak should carry life, grace, and freedom to those who are weary and bound. We are not here to make our own names shine brightly. Instead, we are called to be like the moon, which has no light of its own, but simply reflects the light of the sun.
In the same way, may our lives reflect the light of the SON. Let His love be seen in our kindness, His truth be heard in our words, and His presence be felt in everything we say and do. When people encounter us, may they encounter Jesus.
Let us be a church that shines not for ourselves, but for Him alone.
